Our loving son, brother, grandson, and friend passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at his residence. He was 13 years old. Jacob Michael Clynick was born on August 2, 2007 in Rockwood, Michigan to Joseph Clynick and Courtney Jones. He was a student at Zilwaukee Elementary. Jacob was a faithful and active member of the church youth group for many years.
He loved gaming and loved Pokémon. Jacob was known for his jokes and had a meme for every occasion. But, what he really loved most was his family.
Surviving are his parents, Joseph Clynick and Courtney Jones; siblings, Gage, Cayden, and Missy; grandparents, Kim Sloan and Don & Ann Clynick and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jacob was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael Sloan.
FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road, Saginaw, MI 48603. Bishop John Lowry will officiate. Cremation to follow the service.
VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Autism Society.
