Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw, she was 73 years old. Maria was born on February 17, 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan to Jesus and Felipa (Solis) Miramontes. Maria had strong faith in god and prayer and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She loved the Virgen de Guadalupe and prayed the rosary every day for all those she loved. Maria was a peaceful person and had love for everyone she knew.
She loved playing bingo and taking trips to the casino. Maria also enjoyed playing cards, cooking, and listening to Mexican and gospel music. She liked watching daily Mass and reading her bible. But, what she really loved most was spending time with her family.
Surviving are one son, Joseph (Jessica) Espinosa; grandchildren, Raul (Stephanie) Espinosa, Jesuscita Espinosa, Casimiro Espinosa, Jorge Munoz Jr. Mark Verdusco, Anna Espinosa, Coylissa Ducre, and Jesus Espinosa; many great grandchildren; sisters, Maria Sanchez and Dolores (Joe) Solis, many nieces and nephews, and special friend and neighbor, Rosemary Uribe and family.
Maria was preceded in death by her daughters, Dolores Espinosa and Monica Espinosa; parents, Jesus and Felipa Miramontes; sisters, Concepcion Luna, Guadalupe Gomez, and Julia Nunez; brother, Jose Miramontes, and life companion, Jose S. Ramirez.
FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. 6th Avenue, Saginaw, MI. Rev. Fr. Francis Voris OFM Cap will officiate.
VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation with the family will continue at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
In keeping with mandated ordinances and for the safety of the community, face masks are required and social distancing will be observed. The family requests that if you feel ill or show symptoms of a cold, please protect them and yourself and remain at home.
