Catherine Garrison

Catherine "Cat" Mary Garrison, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Covenant HealthCare - Harrison. Catherine was born on January 10, 1949 in Saginaw, MI the daughter of the late Herman and Elizabeth (Hellus) Lamblin. She was united in marriage to David Garrison on December 23, 1967 at Peace Lutheran Church in Saginaw, Michigan. He preceded her in death on January 22, 2015. Catherine was a member of the Reach Community Church. She loved to cook and bake for her friends and family. Painting and crafting were her favorite past times. Left to cherish Catherine's memory are son, Robert (Connie Stewart) Garrison; daughter, Carrie (Paul) Doman; four grandchildren, Amanda (Erik) Petersen, Jessica Doman, Trent Garrison and Gwen Garrison, three sisters, Patricia Borske, Leola Bitterman and Nancy (James) McDowell; two brothers, Jim (Mary) Lamblin and Eugene Lamblin; sister-in-laws, Charlene Lamblin and Lenette (John) Ferguson; brother-in-laws, James (Deborah) Garrison and Ralph (Andrea) Garrison Besides her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, David; sisters, Joyce Wenzel, Jean Griffor and Janet Strudgeon; brothers, Clarence Lamblin, Albert Lamblin, Sr. and Edward Lamblin, Sr. SERVICE: In keeping with Catherine's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being planned for this summer.
