Spurr, Julie Ann, beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in Midland, Michigan at the age of 54. Julie was born on December 12, 1966 in Saline, Michigan the daughter of Kenneth and Verna (Tarvis) Spurr. She was a 1985 graduate of Milan High School and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Central Michigan University. Julie enjoyed golfing and loved spending time at the family cottage on Blue Lake in Fountain, Michigan. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Julie is survived by her three children; Joel and Abby Ziegelmann both of Saginaw and Ryan Ziegelmann of Grandville, mother; Verna Spurr of Midland, sister; Suzanne and husband Paul Pomnichowski of Traverse City, brother; Stephen Spurr of Traverse City and two nephews. In keeping with Julie's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service is being planned this spring or summer. Growing up in Milan was a special time. I knew Julie by way of my sister, Margaret (Marcantonio), on of Julie's best friends throughout the years, starting in Milan back in 1979 when we relocated there. Julie was always a bright light, always has a smile and something to say. It's hard to grow up in a town that size and not know everyone, and now miss that time. Julie will be missed and I hope she knows she was well loved. Our sincerest condolences to Mrs. Spurr and family, but especially her children. Godspeed Jules. My heart aches for the many family and friends that Julie had. We could all tell a story of how she made us laugh; or how infectious her personality was, that you just wanted to be her friend....and boy did she have a lot of those! I will carry the treasured memories of friendship, time at the lake, & just hanging out with 'Jules' deep in my heart. My sincere condolences, and prayers for Joel, Ryan, Abbey and family. May you all experience the peace and comfort of the Holy Spirit in the difficult days and months ahead.

Julie was a devoted friend to me always a smile as she entered any room . She will be missed . I went to high school with Julie we would alway say hello each day to one another . When she said I'm here for u she meant it on good and bad days . When I was bullied in school Julie was at my rescue telling me Patty keep your chin up your better then them . Julie Rest In Peace my friend u will never be forgotten love u my friend
