Dorey, Sharon Ann Freeland Michigan Sharon Ann Dorey passed away on Wednesday February 3, 2021 at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital. She was 74 years old. Sharon Ann Ballentine was born on November 8, 1946 in Saginaw to the late Edgar Ballentine and Sally Mahon. Sharon married Lawrence Dorey on July 2, 1994 in Bridgeport; he survives her. Sharon graduated from Saginaw High School, class of 1964. She retired from General Motors after 20 years of service. Sharon could always be found from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. watching The Young and the Restless. She also enjoyed shopping, gardening, going to the casino. But most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry Dorey; a daughter, Sallie (Roger) Mejia; three grandchildren: Josh, Brianna and Lauren Warner; as well as Kevin and Trent Dorey, Steve (Amy) Dorey and family, Brian (Jodi) Dorey and family; two nieces: Tricia Symon, Shelly Bean; and Ron Warner and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Ballentine and Sally (Maima) Mahon; her son, Scott Warner; her sister, Diana Campau; and her grandson, Tyler Warner . According to Sharon's wishes cremation has taken place. I have very fond memories of Mrs. Warner. She was like a second mother to me as her son was my best friend growing up. She was always so kind and generous. I cannot forget the day she took Scotty and I to our first movie at a theater. It was so cool. She always watched out for us kids in the neighborhood. Thank you Mrs. Sharon for the memories. RIP. Sallie, I'm so sorry to learned that your mother has passed away. I have so many fond memories of her, from my high school years to the present. Sharon was a beautiful woman, inside and out. I know she was very proud of you and your family. Life as you you know it will certainly change but I hope you will feel comfort knowing that your mother is in a much better place, pain free. May the angels welcome you In Paradise, Sharon! You were the coolest!
