David Najar

Najar, David Reyes, Sr. Saginaw, Michigan Loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2021 at Covenant Health Care in Saginaw. He was 65 years old. David Reyes Najar was born February 4, 1956 in Saginaw to the late Javiel and Margaret (Reyes) Najar. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years. He loved cooking and enjoyed barbequing for his family. David also enjoyed listening to Mexican music and scratching off lottery tickets. He adored his dog Jefe and loved taking him for walks. He liked a cold Budwiser after a long day. But, what he really loved most was his family, especially his grandchildren and his brothers and sisters. Surviving are his children, David (Casey) Najar, Marcello (Ella) Najar, and Jeremiah Najar; several grandchildren; siblings, Paul (Mary) Najar, Cleo Najar, Theresa Najar, and Elizabeth (Nick) Delacruz; special friend, Arturo (Mariann) Aguilar; close friend, Diane Keenan and many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his brothers, Xavier Najar and Mark Najar. MEMORIAL SERVICE: In keeping with David's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2021 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Fr. Francis Voris OFM Cap. will officiate. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. In keeping with mandated ordinances and for the safety of the community, face masks are required, social distancing, and gathering guidelines will be observed.
