Hutchison, Thomas "Tom" Hemlock, Michigan Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at his home. He was 59 years old. Thomas John Hutchison was born on September 21, 1961 in Saginaw to Robert and Anna (Dee) Hutchison. Tom graduated from Hemlock High School in 1979. Tom worked for 35 years as the Maintenance Supervisor at Green Acres Village Apartments. He loved to ride motorcycles and was a car enthusiast, doing many restoration projects through the years. Tom had a kind and caring spirit that touch many people, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Doris E. "Dori" Hutchison, whom he married on June 29, 1990. Also to carry on his legacy are his children: Heather (Doug) Petrimoulx, Todd (Katie) Pettit and Rachel (Lazaro Gonzales) Pettit; grandchildren: Ayriel and Seth Pettit, Hunter Petrimoulx, Tony and Carter Gonzales; mother, Anna Hutchison; brother, William (Jacque) Hutchison; niece and nephews: Sarah (Gordon) Fath, Jason (Jamie) Hutchison and Chad (Shannon) Hutchison. Tom is also survived by many extended family and dear friends. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hutchison; brother, Robert Hutchison Jr.; and his son, Douglas Pettit. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather privately at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Thomas will be buried at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Hemlock. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning and expression of sympathy many wish to consider a donation to the Covenant Cancer Center. I'm so heartbroken to learn of Tom's passing. I was a friend of Tom's 42 years ago when we attended Arthur Hill High School together. I moved to Arizona and we never spoke after that, but the memories of time with him and the friends we shared are clear in my mind and dear to my heart.
I remember Dee and Robert and grilled cheese after school. The family was so gracious to me and I'll never forget that.
My condolences go out to the family.

Grandpa Tom to me, always seemed to be a man with few words but never without carrying a big ass smile and a laugh that filled a room! His honest words and kind heart was what made him someone special. Seeing the way he loved Grandma Dori was one of the most precious things about Tom. He was one of the hardest working men I will ever know and the days to come without him are heavy and hard. But I know he is looking down on us, on Dori with love and without any more burdens of pain on his shoulders. I am happy he can be up there with my Dad DougiE now.
