Obituary
LeVario, Sr., Ruben, age 65 years old passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Covenant Healthcare. Ruben was born on April 29, 1955 in Saginaw, MI the son of the late Joseph and Lucia (Lopez) LeVario. He was a faithful member of Radiant Church of God, where he helped to facilitate revivals, served as an usher, did maintenance, and helped with food drives. He started a ministry at Lakeside Apartment Complex where he lived, and they would have bible study together as a community. Ruben enjoyed going to dances and playing pool. He will always be remembered for being a sharp dresser. Ruben's big heart and sharing spirit will be greatly missed by all of the lives that he has touch. Ruben is survived by his children; Santiago (Kim) LeVario, Sr., Ruben LeVario, Jr. and Megan LeVario, eight grandchildren; Alexcya, Santiago Jr., Lilliana, Anastasia, Ruben III, Nieko, Santos and Ricky, siblings; Josie (Henry) Moncada, Raymond LeVario, Rudolph LeVario, Michael (Carmen) LeVario, Noel (Gloria) LeVario, a very dear friend; Jennifer Christopher and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Ruben was preceded in death by three siblings; Gloria Martinez, Joseph Jr. and Martin LeVario. FUNERAL: A funeral service will take place Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastor Adolfo and Erlinda Martinez to officiate. Cremation to follow the service. In keeping with mandated ordinances and for the safety of the community, face masks are required, social distancing, and gathering guidelines will be observed. VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to call at the funeral home Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. MEMORIALS: Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider memorial to the LeVario family c/o Megan LeVario. Uncle Ruben...why??? Comes to mind, but only "He" knows the answer. You were with grandma Lucy and made sure she was on her way, Then you followed! How thoughtful, courageous, brave, and beautiful. This is what I will always remember most. Of course, you were funny, sharp, slick, and kind. " One of a kind." You will always be missed, but never forgotten! Promise! Joe-Joe y familia.
