Ross, Katherine Mary Saginaw, Michigan Loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw. She was 65 years old. Katherine Mary Beechler was born April 1, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Percy and Marie (Sequin) Beechler. She married Steven Ross on September 6, 1984 in Las Vegas, NV. Katherine attended St. Clair County Community College and Delta College, earning a degree in nursing. She was employed by Saginaw General Hospital and then Covenant HealthCare as a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery Unit, retiring in 2016. Katherine was a faithful and active member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and also Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Helen Site for many years. She was also a member of the knitting ministry at the church, where they prayerfully created shawls to comfort those sick and in need of support. She loved sewing and crocheting, making beautiful crafts which she'd sell at craft shows throughout the state with her husband. Katherine also enjoyed camping and taking trips to Las Vegas and New York. But, what she really loved most was spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Reagan who she adored. Surviving are her husband, Steven Ross; children, Robert (Olivia) Ross and Bailey Ross; granddaughter, Reagan Ross; brother, David (Robin) Beechler; stepsister, Kathy (Tim Sr.) Novak, and many nieces and nephews. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Marie Beechler; Stepmother, Elaine Beechler; sisters, Janice Gulliver and Linda (Jon) Loubert. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: She will be buried at St. Andrew Cemetery at a private graveside service. Rev. Fr. William J. Rutkowski is officiating. The family is planning to hold a public memorial service once the current health crisis subsides. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Christ the Good Shepherd Parish.
