Storey, Melissa Anne (Jacques) Flint, Michigan Passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She was 46 years old. Melissa Anne Jacques was born December 26, 1973 in Saginaw, Michigan to Kenneth and Elizabeth (Beeckman) Jacques. She married Kevin Storey on November 4, 2000 in Clio, Michigan. Missy attended Danville Area Community College, earning an associate degree. She loved her dogs. Missy also enjoyed watching NASCAR races and being with her friends. But, what she really loved most was spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband, Kevin Storey; father Kenneth (Linda) Jacques; (siblings, Julie (Brian) Anderson, Alicia (Steven) Wendling, Lisa (Shawn) McClure, Douglas Steele, and Alexandra Lapp; grandmother, Doris Jacques; extended family and many nieces and nephews. Missy was preceded in death by her son, Trenton; mother, Elizabeth "Betsy" and father in-law, James L. Storey; grandparents, Norbert (Julia) Beeckman and Dr. Kenneth Jacques. FUNERAL SERVICE: In keeping with Melissa's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Private Memorial Service will take place on Friday, November 13, 2020. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In keeping with mandated ordinances and for the safety of the community, face masks are required and social distancing will be observed. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the wishes of the family c/o Kevin Storey. We all loved our Missaliss, she has always been special in our family, and Will be missed by all of us. With all her struggles she was always cheerful, smiling and a lot like her Mom. I'll miss her forever and thank God for the time we all had with her in our life.
