Campbell, Eleanor Hubbard Lake, Michigan (Formally of Saginaw) Passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, October 29, 2020 at Medilodge of Alpena. She was 89 years old. Eleanor was born February 4, 1931 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late John and Mary (Balazentis) Zoobrick. She graduated from Arthur Hill High school in 1949 Eleanor was united in marriage to Warren Campbell on June 16, 1956. She enjoyed baking, cooking and reading. But most of all Eleanor enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband; Warren Campbell, daughter; Karen (Larry) Tuttle, grandchildren; Megan and Kyle (Stephanie) Tuttle, great-grandchildren; Maverick and Archer and dear cousins; Donna and Carol Johnson. Eleanor was preceded in death by her son; Mark, daughter; Michele, brothers; John, Edward "Ted" and Joe Zoobrick, aunts; Helen Alexa and Ann Johnson. FUNERAL SERVICE: A Private Funeral Service will take place at a later date. Amy Bartels-Roe, Pastorial Associate will officiate. Burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. I have fond memories of Eleanor, Warren and their family. My mom and Eleanor were childhood and lifelong friends. As a kid I recall spending many a Sunday afternoon with my parents visiting Eleanor and Warren and their family. Eleanor seemed to always have something just freshly baked and the conversations around the table covered everything from politics to life after death. Eleanor will always hold a special place in my heart. She was so kind and endearing to everyone. I loved my conversations with her as I found her to be a deep thinker on many things and her naivety always made me laugh. I am sorry that I did not get to visit her up north prior to Covid. My condolences to Warren and the family as I know she will be deeply missed.
