Joanne Maul

Maul, Joanne Beatrice Ft. Myers, Florida formally from Saginaw, MI Passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 at Hope Hospice House in Cape Coral, FL. Joanne was a loving wife, caring mother and adoring grandmother and great- grandmother. She was the daughter of the late Olin Daniel and Beatrice (Cook) Tenney, born December 15, 1929 in Saginaw, MI, and graduated from Saginaw High School in 1947. On June 9, 1951, she married the love of her life and husband of 69 years, John P. Maul. Joanne and John raised their children in Saginaw Township and retired in Fort Myers, Fl. She loved shuffle board, swimming, singing with her group at the park. She always had a Sudoku book by her side. Joanne and her whistle were employed by the Saginaw Township Schools as a Cafeteria Assistant for numerous years. She was an active and devoted member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, where she shared her beautiful singing voice in the choir, weddings and friends' funerals. Joanne is survived by her husband, John P. Maul; son, Steven Maul; daughters: JoEllen (Anthony) Provenzano, Leah (David) Blenkhorn and Becky (Bernard) Rogoszewski; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters: Barbara Kuchinsky and Mary Beth Becker; brother, David Tenney and several nieces and nephews. Joanne was predeceased by three sons: Dennis, Gary and Michael Maul; her grandson, Jacob; and her sisters: Patricia Colpean and Danalyn Smith. The Maul family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Hope Hospice for their wonderful care, comfort and compassion. We would also like to offer specific recognition and gratitude to our sister Becky, for her countless hours spent with John and Joanne.
