Dennis Helpap

I worked with Dennis in the Peace Lutheran Bible Class, back in the late 70's. I remember him waiting for me, sitting on my porch, with his TV Guide. You have my prayers and sympathies. Carl Sztuczko

I attended school with Dennis and was one of his swim instructors. He would often spit his bridge out and then tell me he "accidentally" dropped his teeth and would I please retrieve them for him? The first time, he scared the hell out of me. As I brought them up from the deep end, he lunged at me,grabbed me around my head and yelled "gotcha". Then laughed like crazy. It became a joke between the two of us, and I told him I was going to glue his teeth in if he kept it up. We always had a good laugh about it and I had to warn the other instructors what to expect. He was a sweet guy and I know you will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Steve Gallagher
