Frances Edie

Edie, Frances Theresa Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. She was 82 years old. Frances Theresa Gulas was born on April 20, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Paul Jr. and Theresa (Forro) Gulas. Frances attended school in Spaulding Township and then Saginaw High School. She married Andrew L. Edie on August 30, 1982 in Saginaw. He preceded her in death on April 2, 1990. Frances loved caring for people and worked for 36 years at HealthSource, Saginaw. She was a faithful member of Ascension Lutheran Church, where she loved to sing and worship her Lord. In her free time she loved to crochet baby hats to donate to children and spend time with her family and friends. Frances is survived by her special nieces and nephews: Kathy (Robert) Schmacher, Paul "Don" (Cathy) Gulas, Barbara Sanchez and Pauline Gulas; her companion Chihuahua, Bruno; she also has several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and her dear friends, Joyce and Jack Richardson. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew; her twin brother, Frank Gabriel (Rose) Gulas; and sister, Priscilla (Robert) Wolfgram. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Frances will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Spaulding Township Cemetery. Rev. Julie Bailey will officiate. In keeping with State mandated regulations, masks will be required and social distancing will be observed.
