LaBrake, Carol J. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Monday evening, October 12, 2020 at Toni & Trish House in Auburn. She was 80 years old. Carol Jean Beadle was born August 13, 1940 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Raymond and Bertha (Reisig) Beadle. She married Sidney LaBrake on August 20, 1960 in Saginaw. Carol attended Delta College, earning an associate degree and attended the Society of Arts and Crafts in Detroit. She was employed by Scott & Miller Advertising Agency, retiring after 30 years of service. Carol also worked for Murray Painting before retiring in 2013. She was a faithful and active member of Ames United Methodist Church and the Calligraphy Society of Mid-Michigan for many years. She was very artistic and loved painting as well as doing calligraphy. Carol also enjoyed gardening and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. But, what she really loved most was spending time with family. Surviving are her husband, Sidney; children, Michael (Stacey) LaBrake and Timothy (Christine) LaBrake; grandchildren, Taylor (Mason), Logan, Bradley, and Austin LaBrake; great-granddaughter, Briar Quinn Kolka; siblings, Jerry (Carol) Beadle, Al (Pam) Beadle, Rick (Debbie) Beadle, Randy (Jessica) Beadle; sisters in-law, Joyce Thormeier, Sally Tinney, and Nancy (Dave) Labeau; brother in-law Bill (Lorraine) LaBrake and many nieces and nephews. FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2020 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastor Doug Hasse will officiate. Committal service to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. For those who are unable to attend the service, the family invites you to view the funeral service via live stream at https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/30506933 VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. Sending my love and sympathy to the family. I have really enjoyed my last few Christmas' with Carol and her amazing family. Getting to know her these past few years has been wonderful. She was a very bright and positive light in this world and we will miss her. -Mason

Dear Sid and family, so sorry to hear about Carol, she wii truly be missed by all of us. She was so helpful to us during Chads accident and that will never be forgotten by us. I just wanted to share with Carol's family she touched hearts all over and always did what she could to help situations. Her prayers were appreciated by many also.may GOD bless her and give her all the comfort she has coming and prayers he will give her family peace. People dont know me a lot but Patricia Balbaugh Hascall is my aunt and Ames was my church for years thank you for Carol's love.

My prayers are with Sid my mom was Judy Kasper . I knew carol and you my whole growing up at Ames Church . She was kind and always smiling and very helpful at all the church gatherings. Heaven gained another angel .
