Linda and Families,
I was sorry to hear about John's passing. It was always nice to shake his hand when I saw him and ask him how the teams were doing. He always knew...... I know that he would pass along HIS appreciation for all those special people who assisted him throughout HIS special life. Rest in peace, John! Scott S.

John was such a kind, gentle- spirited man. When we were all kids, my sister MaryLou and I would visit John, his sister Linda, and their parents on Sunday afternoon with our grandparents. His sister (affectionately called Lindy) would make sure that John was always included in whatever game we kids were playing. As adults, Lindy would include my husband Tom and I in visits with John at Shadduck Manor. She also included us in nice lunches out at restaurants with John. John's favorite topic was the Angels, of course!
He would entertain us with each and every statistic tallied by his Angels! Thank you, John, for being a special part of our lives. Fondly, Tom and Pat Schomaker

I enjoyed every morning I worked at Shattuck going in to give John his meds and joking with him! He loved his Angels Team and he let me know it everyday when I would tell him " Go Tigers" He would always respond with "No,No,No...Go Angel's!! He will be missed!
