Coral Dexter

Dexter, Coral Joanne Harmer Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper, Saginaw. She was 88 years old. Coral Joanne Harmer was born on September 13, 1931 in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Clifford John and Alga Pearl (Hill) Harmer. She married Gerald "Jerry" Dexter on May 15, 1979 in Saginaw, Michigan. He preceded her in death on May 13, 2020. Joanne was a caring and loving mother, sister, and wife that was always willing to make any sacrifice for her family. She enjoyed spending time at the cottage on Eight Point Lake with her family. Joanne also loved playing cards, reading, going to the casino, and dining out. She graduated from Saginaw High School and was employed by Lufkin Rule and retired from Means Stamping, Saginaw. She is survived by her loving sons: Robert Waskoviak, Flint, Michigan, Roger (Ann) Waskoviak, Humble, Texas, and Ramon Waskoviak, Sevierville, Tennessee; stepson, Allen (Dianna) Dexter, Spring, Texas ; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Buckholz; sisters-in-law Stella Harmer and Shirley Dexter, many nieces and nephews. Joanne was preceded in death by her three brothers: Clifford Harmer, Jr., Glenn Harmer, and Paul Harmer; a stepson, Phillip Dexter; and two brothers-in-law: Marvin Dexter and Ronald Dexter. In keeping with Joanne's wishes, cremation has taken place, there are no services planned at this time.
