Troup, Carol L. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2020. She was 79 years old. Carol Lynne Green was born on November 14, 1940 in Saginaw to the late Ray F. and Geraldine R. (Hagan) Green. Carol graduated from Arthur Hill High School. Carol L. Green married Paul E. Troup on March 12, 1960, he preceded her in death on September 26, 2018. She retired from JC Penney, Fashion Square Mall after 30 years. Following retirement, Paul and Carol enjoyed traveling and taking multiple cruises. Carol served as the organist and choir director for many years at the West Michigan Ave. United Methodist Church. She also was a faithful member of Ames United Methodist Church. Carol is survived by her children: Paul G. (Patricia Yanna) Troup and Heather (Brian) Leuenberger; grandchildren: John (Stefanie) Troup, Justin Troup, Brice and Morgan Leuenberger and Brittany Yanna; three great-grandchildren: Peyton and Stella Troup and Lennox Yanna. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; and sister, Marilyn Krzyzaniak. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2020, at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd., Saginaw. Rev. David Wichert will officiate. Private burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Paul and Heather, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this time. I would often sub for your mom at the organ when she and your dad would go on their cruises. She dearly loved her music, and I regret that we never got to play those duets she wanted to do together after she came to Ames. I'm sure she is making beautiful music now and glad to be reunited with your dad. May God's love carry you through this time.
