Obituary
Gutman, Clarence, age 61 passed away Wednesday morning, June 17, 2020 unexpectedly with his family by his side. Clarence was born on April 28, 1959 in Frankfurt, Germany, the son of Clarence and Edeltraud (Sauter) Gutman. Clarence met the love of his life and best friend Gloria Barajas, in the summer of 1989; she survives him. He enjoyed wood carving, collecting tropical fish watching fireworks and driving and camping up north with his family. Clarence was a real joker; but most of all he was a great mechanic, he could fix or figure out almost anything. Clarence will be dearly missed. Clarence is survived by his loving fiancée, Gloria Barajas; sisters, Maria (Robert) Fisher and Theresa (Ralf) Zora; three nephews, Thomas Fick, Adam (Fran) Malecki and Steven Malecki; sister in-law, Margarita Grierson; brother in-laws, Jose (Susan) Barajas, Manny Barajas, Jesse (Dina) Barajas, and Arthur Barajas, his loving k9 buddy's Petey and Chico and many dear friends. Besides his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by his mother and father in-law, Jose and Jesusita Barajas and a brother in-law, William "Fireman Bill" Grierson. FUNERAL: Private services will take place on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 6:00 PM with Fr. Frank Voris OMF Cap to officiate. Cremation to follow. VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to visit Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State St.) on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Keeping in mind of the state restrictions of wearing face coverings and 10 people at a time limitations. MEMORIALS: Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider American Heart Association or Amazing Grace Animal Rescue. Sending love and prayers to all of you during this difficult time. I've know Clarence and the Gutman family ever sense the 5th grade at Brunkow Elementary. Clarence was quite the character and he loved to joke around with everyone. He could be a scary presence, but he had a friendly heart. My condolences to his family and friends.

I remember the day I met him-we were just kids. He always made me laugh, had an answer for problems, and was so kind to me. Rest In Peace, Clarence. I pray for peace for your family and all of those who loved you. :heart:

A truer friend you could never find, a. heart of gold with a personality to match. My heart hurts for you Gloria and the entire Gutman family.
