Obituary
Clark, Ruby J. Saginaw, Michigan On June 4, 2020, God stretched out his hand to Ruby J. Clark and took her home. Ruby J. Curry was born on October 4, 1948, in Louisville, Alabama to the late Charlie and Jimmie Lee (Rumph) Curry. On October 7, 1967, she married her beloved husband of 52 years, Eugene Clark Sr, he survives her. Of their union, three children were born; Eugene Clark Jr (who predeceased her), and her daughters, Rhonda Clark and Tia (Derrick) Clark-Mitchell, who live to cherish her memories. Ruby was employed as a teacher's assistant and retired from the Melvin G. Millet Learning Center in 2004. Surviving besides her husband and her daughters are her sisters, Jimmie Ruth (Rudolph, who predeceased her) McKay, Patricnello "Pat" Jackson, Mary Curry, Cynthia Joyce Thomas, Brenda Curry, and her baby brother, Frederick Curry; she was predeceased by her brother David. Her other siblings (in law), Frank (Lizzie, who predeceased her) Naylor, Martha (Willie) McWilliams, Marvin (Norma) Clark, Lessie Clark (predeceased her), Mamie Clark, Ivoner (Bob) Lowery, Mosby (Pam) Clark, and Lurene Clark who remained by her side. Ruby also leaves behind her grandchildren and her great grandchildren, two whom loved her dearly, Santiago Clark Jr and Ka'Myrah Clark. She has too many nieces, nephews and honorary children to name, but they know she loved them. A special thank you to A&D Waiver Program, Sue, Julie, Angelina and Chantel, who helped to make her life what it was. The family will have a private ceremony to celebrate Ruby's life. Pastor Terry Randolph will officiate. Following the service, Ruby will be entombed at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Deisler Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Clark family; condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.DeislerFuneralHome.com or by mailing condolences to 2233 Hemmeter Road, Saginaw, MI 48603.
