Gerald Dexter

Dexter, Gerald "Jerry" Curtis Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Healthsource Saginaw. He was 87 years old. Jerry was born May 16, 1932 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Curtis and Linda (Spitz) Dexter. He married C. Joanne Waskoviak on May 15, 1979 in Saginaw, Michigan. Jerry graduated from Saginaw High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during Korean War, earning the rank of Sergeant. Jerry was employed by Baker Perkins as a Foreman, retiring after 41 years of service. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed going hunting and fishing. Jerry also enjoyed playing golf. But, what he loved most was spending time at his cottage on Eight Point Lake with his family. Surviving are his wife, C. Joanne Dexter; one son, Allen (Dianna) Dexter; stepchildren, Robert Waskoviak, Roger (Ann) Waskoviak and Ramon Waskoviak; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Dexter and his two brothers, Marvin and Ronald Dexter. In keeping with Jerry's wishes, cremation has taken place, there are no services planned at this time.
