Obituary
Lagalo, Robert "Bob" Paul age 82, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 at Wellspring Lutheran Service Senior Living. Robert was born September 3, 1937 in Saginaw, the son of Ralph and Virginia (Przybylowicz) Lagalo. He graduated from Saginaw High School, class of 1956. He was united in marriage to the former Barbara Wilson January 28, 1956 in Saginaw. Bob owned and operated the Tony's restaurant both in Birch Run and Weadock St. in Saginaw for 47 years. He was a member of the Sons of Italy, Fordney Club and Germania Club. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and golf. He also enjoyed traveling with Barb all over the world. Robert is survived by his wife, Barbara; five children, Robert John (Michele) Lagalo, Contance Lagalo, Rosemarie Gibson, Denise (Steve) Fritzler and Ralph A. Lagalo; ten grandchildren, Tina Altman, Nicholas Newman, Trisha Kay Ulasi, Dale Fineran, Jeremy Lagalo, Keri Bergkamp, Daniel Newman, Emily Vezina, Robert Fineran and Joel Fritzler; and seventeen great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by a brother and his wife, Anthony (Sharon) Lagalo. FUNERAL: A Memorial Liturgy will take place Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 10:30 am from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State St. Saginaw, MI 49603. Rev. Father Richard Bokinskie will officiate the service. Burial took place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends and family are welcome to visit St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 9:30am until the time of service. Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Diabetes Association.
