McGovern, Judith Lorraine of Saginaw, MI. Passed away with her family by her side on Monday, March 23, 2020 at her residence. She was 77 years old. Judith Lorraine Pace was born December 6, 1942 in Saginaw, MI. She married Michael E. McGovern on August 28, 1965 in Saginaw. He preceded her in death on November 21, 1992. Judith attended Central Michigan University. She was employed by Lutheran Manors of Saginaw as an Assisted Living Coordinator, retiring with over 20 years of service. Judith was a faithful and active member of the Saginaw Junior League and the Higgins Lake Boat Club for many years. She was also a member of First Presbyterian Church. She loved spending time with family at her cottage on Higgins Lake. Judith also enjoyed quilting, knitting, and reading. She was a magnificent baker, making many delicious apple pies. Judith was an avid fan of the Fighting Irish. She had a kind soul and was a dedicated caregiver to anyone in need especially her family. Surviving are her children, Michael E. (Melinda) McGovern II, Sean P. (Raquel) McGovern, and Casey (Pattie) McGovern; grandchildren, Maya and Wyatt McGovern, Hazel and Mary Jane McGovern; one sister, Kay Hollar; sister in-law Nan Pace; special nieces and nephews, Buddy Pace, John Pace, James Hollar, and Anne Hollar. Judith was preceded in death by her parents Hollis and Vernita (Campbell) Pace and her brother Hollis (Bud) Pace. Judy, Judy, Judy, our Shattuck Manor years sure were memorable to say the least. We laughed until we cried and sometimes we cried until we laughed, and we laughed a lot. I sure am thankful for the time we shared. My prayers and many Happy Memories to your Family.

To all of Judy's family: Judy was a wonderful, loving, caring lady. My Mom and Dad were st Shattuck Manor for several years and Judy helped make that time easier to deal with. For Judys kids and for Kay, nan & the rest of you I have never met-
I am speechless - as with your uncle Bud's passing -now Judy - too soon isn't enough - they added such quality to my growing up- Nitta & Hollace, no better role models, as a family-- if it's any consolation, I think they enjoyed those times too- darn it damn it- just so not right:disappointed_relieved: For good citizenship this family gets AAA may their spirits Kiev on inside all of you!
