Donna VanBocxlaer

Passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning March 12, 2020, at the age of 91. Donna was born on August 19, 1928 in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of Raymond and Gweneth (Hicks) Webster. Donna graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1946. She was united in marriage to Erwin VanBocxlaer in Saginaw, MI: he preceded her in death in 2000. Donna was a longtime member of Swan Valley Methodist Church and their Women's Club. She enjoyed gardening, baking and reading. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be missed dearly. Donna is survived by her three children, Linda (Dan) Schrems, Steven (Mary Jo) VanBocxlaer and Karen (Chris) Enriquez; grandchildren, Michelle (Scott), Kathryn, Christal (Nick), Catherine and Christine; great-grandchildren, Hayley, Aiden, Nicholas, Alivia, Addison and Wyatt and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Erwin, Donna was preceded in death by three children, Erwin, Patricia and Catherine; one brother and three sisters, Annie, Gweneth, Wesley and Oriat. FUNERAL: Funeral services for Donna will take place Monday, March 16, 2020 at 1:00 PM from Swan Valley United Methodist Church, 9265 Geddes Rd. with Reverend Robert Richards to officiate. Interment to follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery and Mausoleum, Freeland, MI. VISITATION; Friends are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Sunday, March15, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again Monday at the church from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
