Fowler, Arthur A. Sr. of Saginaw, Michigan. Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Healthsource Saginaw. He was 82 years old. Arthur Albert Fowler born August 20, 1937 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Russell and Elizabeth (Indlekofer) Fowler. He married Marilyn Carrick on April 3, 1959 in Saginaw. She preceded him in death on June 5, 2004. Arthur was employed by Callahan's and Wrege's Fish Market and then later worked as a security guard for Lawndale Estates Mobile Home Park. During his retirement he loved to spend his time fishing in Sanford Lake. Arthur was a dedicated husband and father, who instilled a strong work ethic into his children, and enjoyed teaching everyone to fish. Surviving are his children: Arthur Jr. (Darleen) Fowler, Timothy Fowler, Howard Fowler and Mark (Crystal) Fowler; grandchildren: Timothy Jr., Michael, Caitlin, Nicole, Erin, Nicholas, Jessica and Rebecca Fowler; great-grandchildren: Warren, Noah, Jonah and Zoey; siblings: Betty (Jim) Mott, Edward Fowler, Carol (Bill) Trudell; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Arthur was preceded in death by siblings: Russell Jr., Raymond, George, Kathryn and Robert Fowler. FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd (off State), Saginaw, Michigan 48603. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate. Committal service to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
