Sandra Salwasser

Salwasser, Sandra M. of Saginaw, Michigan. Passed away with her son and daughter by her side on Sunday evening, December 22, 2019 at Toni and Trish House of Auburn. She was 77 years old. Sandra was born September 22, 1942 in Midland, MI to the late Douglas and Arvilla (Groner) Walls. She married Donald Salwasser in 1984. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2010. She was employed by Uloth's Paint and Wallpaper and West Side Decorating as an interior decorator, retiring after several years. Sandra was a faithful and active member of Second Presbyterian Church. She volunteered often at Covenant Healthcare and was a member of the Altrusa Club and the Quota Club for many years. Sandra was also a member of the Heritage Square Neighborhood association. She enjoyed golfing. Sandra also took pride in her yard and enjoyed gardening. But, what she really loved most was helping others decorate their houses and spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Sherry (Larry) Boudot, D.J. Uloth; three bonus children, Mark Salwasser, Diane (John) Hartley, and Chris (Jim) Fritz; grandchildren, Cameron Uloth, Mallory Garcia, Ashley Boudot, Brianna Fresorger, Dylan Syed, Shawn Salwasser, Zachary Salwasser, Shelby Salwasser, Maddison Wheatley; one great-grandchild on the way; sister, Brenda Conca; brothers in-law Jeff Uloth and Jim Salwasser; sister in-law, Connie Salwasser and many nieces and nephews. Sandra was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Walls; sister, Marsha Runndle, and grandson, Tony Garcia. Sandra's family would like to thank the staff at the Toni and Trish House of Auburn for the wonderful and compassionate care they provided to their mother. MEMORIAL SERVICE: A Memorial Service will take place at 4:00 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2019 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State), Saginaw, Michigan 48638. Rev. James Neaumann will officiate. In keeping with Sandra's wishes, cremation has taken place. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Toni and Trish House of Auburn.
