Messer, Michael A. of Bay City, Michigan. Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at McLaren Bay Region. He was 69 years old. Michael was born June 2, 1950 in Decatur, Illinois to the late William and Donna Messer. Michael attended the University of Kansas, earning a bachelor degree in business. He was employed by Peerless Steel working in outside sales, retiring after 40 years of service. He loved golfing and playing cards. Michael was the life of the party and enjoyed any social occasion. He also loved his corvette and different car activities. But, what he really loved most was spending time with his family, friends, and his cats. Surviving are his son, Alexander Messer; siblings, Rebecca Messer, William (Lisa) Messer, and dear friend Amy Messer. FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State), Saginaw, Michigan 48603. Pastor Emily Olsen will officiate. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the wishes of the family c/o Alex Messer or Amazing Grace Animal Rescue. I didn't know Mike that will, but the short time I did was playing golf with him at the Golf Course. He was someone who enjoyed life and wanted everyone around him to know that. He will be missed very much and I am sending my condolence to his family.

My condolences to all of Mike's family. I dated Mike in high school and some of our college years. He was a special person and will always be fondly remembered and in my prayers.
