Watkins, Jean Ann Saginaw Township Passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 at St. Francis Home. She was 90 years old. Jean was born April 10, 1929 in Royal Oak, Michigan the daughter of Harold and Anna Ruth (Bohnhoff) Holloway. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1947. Jean was united in marriage to William E. Watkins in 1953, Angola, Indiana; he survives her. Jean loved making things. She was very gifted in sewing and knitting. Jean was a member of several sewing and gardening clubs. But most of all Jean loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Jean is survived by her husband of 66 years, William E.; her two sons, William C. (Debbie) Watkins and Dale (Lucille) Watkins; two grandchildren, Adam Watkins and Sarah (Tony) Gonzales; two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Lucas Gonzales and several nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Anna Ruth and step-father, Fred Larson, daughter, Patricia Cameron; two sisters, Meredith Brown and Merriel McAlpine and a brother, William Holloway. MEMORIAL SERVICE: A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) Reverend Theodore McCulloch will officiate the service. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 11:00 AM until the time of service. MEMORIALS: Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider Wounded Warriors Project.
