Richard Luna

Passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, October 30, 2019 at the age of 77. Richard was born on November 20, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Joseph and Lee (Larralde) Luna. He was united in marriage to the former Patricia Listvan on June 19, 1993 in Saginaw, Michigan. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army and Airforce for six years. He retired as an electrician after 40 years at Grey Iron Foundry. Richard was a past commander and member of American Legion Post #500. He enjoyed having breakfast with his retired friends, going to the casino and collecting and restoring old photos. But most of all Richard loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He adored his K9 companions, Mia and Kody who were treated as family. Richard had a huge heart. He would do anything for family or friend. Richard will be dearly missed. Richard is survived by his loving wife: Patricia, his children; Kim Luna, Todd (Stacy) Luna, Richard J. Luna, Kevin Clark and Karen Clark, grandchildren; Taylor, Sofia, Kayla, Curtis, Jason, Katie and Lauren, two great-grandchildren; sisters; Gloria Verduzco, Martha Rotunno and Estella Estrada and several nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Richard will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM from Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather Friday, November 8, 2019 at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again Saturday morning from 10:00 am until the time of service.
