Ruby Geese

GEESE, Ruby Saginaw, Michigan Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at New Hope Valley, Saginaw. She was 91 years old. Ruby Burback was born March 9, 1928 in Mason City, Iowa to the late John and Katherine Burback. She married Albert G. Geese on April 5, 1951, and together they celebrated 68 wonderful years together. Ruby loved to read, golf and bowl. She also enjoyed making cherished memories with her family and grandchildren. Ruby will be fondly remembered by her husband, Albert "Babe" Geese; sons, Donald (Diane) Geese of Holland and David (Penny) Geese of Harrison and daughter, Susan Macaulay of Saginaw; grandchildren: Nichole (Adam) Latham of Grand Rapids, Elizabeth Geese of Detroit and Matthew Kerry (Alexander) Macaulay of Astoria, NY, many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Ruby was preceded in death by her: son-in-law, Kerry Macaulay; seven brothers and six sisters. FUNERAL: A committal service for Ruby will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Oakwood Mausoleum, 5950 Gratiot Road, Saginaw, MI 48638. Family and friends are welcome to visit at the mausoleum on Tuesday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service. Chaplain Lon Cook will officiate.
