William Osmond

Osmond, William F. "Bill" Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital. He was 69 years old. William Francis Osmond was born on January 14, 1950 in Saginaw to the late Frank H. and Esther R. (Hoffmann) Osmond. Bill graduated from Buena Vista High School in 1966. He proudly served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Bill was a skilled finish carpenter working throughout the Saginaw Area his entire life. He loved to spend time outdoors, hunt, fish and garden. He is survived by his son: William Francis Osmond II and his wife, Erica; daughter, Molly Osmond and her fiance, Aaron Wood; grandchildren: James Thomas Osmond and Kelcie Ann Osmond; sister, Cathy Jutzi and her husband, Ed; brother, Keith F. Osmond and his wife, Susanne; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Osmond. SERVICE: In keeping with Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service for Bill will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastor Ken MacGillvray will officiate. Military honors under the auspice of the United States Army will follow the funeral service. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
