Stahl, Suzanne L. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Bartonwoods Assisted Living, surrounded by her family. She was 72 years old. Suzanne L. Losee was born on August 20, 1946 in Saginaw to the late Earl and Emma (Rohloff) Losee. She was married to William R. Fila, Sr. on February 3, 1968. She later married Terry L. Stahl on April 30, 1988 and he preceded her in death on December 16, 2007. She was a 1964 graduate of Buena Vista High School. She worked for the Saginaw Police Department as a Lien Operator and retired on February 28, 1997. Suzanne was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saginaw and St. James Lutheran Church. She enjoyed music and dancing, spending precious moments with her grandchildren and making cherished memories that will be forever held by her family that survive her. She will be deeply missed by her son, William R. Fila, Jr.; her daughter, Stacy L. (Tony) Lopez; three grandchildren: Brady and Landon Fila and Christian Lopez; brother, Jerry (Elizabeth) Losee; sister, Sharon (Bill) Murlick; special friend, Lorna Putman; many nieces, nephews, Buena Vista High School Club friends and extended family. Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Emma Losee. Suzanne's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Bartonwoods Assisted Living, especially Skyler Arizola; and Southern Care Hospice, especially, Kim Bli for all of the care and support that has been provided to Suzanne. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Suzanne will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd., Saginaw, MI 48603. Rev. Lon Cook will officiate. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.; and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association. Words cannot express how very very grateful I was to meet Suzanne and Terry when we first moved from Illinois to our home here in Michigan in 2002. She was my best friend up here and certainly helped me transition from living in a fairly big city atmosphere to what I some times called the "boonies". They were definitely why we felt so at home in our Lake City Evangelical Presbyterian church home. We were greeted that first Sunday with big big hugs and it was such a blessing to become the friends we had here! Will certainly miss my sweet, funny friend but know Jesus and Terry as well as her other family members has greeted her with open arms saying "Welcome home my good and faithful child".

We were saddened to read about Suzanne's passing. May the many treasured memories sustain you during this most difficult time. We pray that you find comfort in our Creator's promises to reunite us with our beloved ones again, in a youthful world, where the causes of pain and sorrow will be a thing of the past. How exciting it will be to see her again doing all the things she loved. Forever find comfort reading Isaiah 25:8, which promises that our tears of mourning will end when death is done away with.
