My family has been friends with the Stallings for 54 years. My mom Lydia met Lill in the hospital when she was giving birth to Darren and my mom was giving birth to me. They shared the same room and became friends right away. My parents spent a lot of time with Lill and Glenn. They would go dancing to country music, travel up north with the families, go to parties and go out for Friday Fish Fry dinners. Lill would always make ceramic gifts to give to my mom. Lill would also help my mom with her catering. I have so many wonderful memories of going to Lill and Glenn's house for dinners, parties and swimming, and spending time with them. There was always laughter and stories to tell. Lill was such a generous, caring, kind and loving person. She was like a second mom to me.
