Obituary
Passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 22, 2019 at the age of 56. Anthony was born on January 2, 1963 in Saginaw, the son of William and Mary (Fent) Astbury. He was united in marriage to the former Kristine Fuller on September 1, 1983 in Mt. Morris, Michigan. Tony was a member of the American Legion and the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, hockey; especially the Saginaw Spirit, going to the cabin, drinking Busch Light Beer and his carpentry work. But most of all he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He will be missed dearly. Tony is survived by his wife, Kristine; his children, Anthony (Jessica) Astbury Jr. and Ashley (Ed) Van Horn; grandchildren, Austin, Brayden, Landon, Brinley, Gannon and soon to arrive Baby Anthony; brothers and sisters, William Astbury Jr., Mary "Eilene" Sahr, Larry Astbury, Brian (Sheila) Astbury, Trixie (Bob) Donovan, Sue (Dan) Caskey; special friend, Brian "Fuzzy" Vanderlip and many nieces, nephews and friends. FUNERAL: A Celebration of life service will take place for Tony on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 3:00 PM from Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Family and friends are invited to join the family for a luncheon and to continue in a celebration of life for Tony following the service at the Van Horn Household, 1298 Allendale Dr., Saginaw, MI 48638. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the the funeral home on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again Saturday afternoon from 2:00 PM until the time of services. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider the "Wishes of the Astbury Family". Sorry your gone now I remember down in St.Pete Fl. We all would go to the pier and watch the boats also we would go to Fort Desoto swimming. We done alot of things down there. We had a great time up there camping with you and your family it's one I will never forget. Your gone now but will be seen again
