Obituary
Passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 26, 2019 at Covenant Medical Center at the age of 71. Susan was born September 9, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Arthur and Theresa "Jenny" McClatchey. She was united in marriage to William B. Howard on June 3, 1967 in Saginaw, Michigan. Susan was the first class to graduate from Douglas Macarthur High School; where she went onto Northwood University and received an Associate's Degree in Business Management. Susan worked for General Motors in their business administrative department. She then went on to work for Gordon and Gaynard Farnum as a dental assistant and Randall Felsing as an office assistant. Susan finished working at Swan Valley School District as a substitute school teacher. Susan enjoyed playing bingo, going for rides in the car, going to church, and visiting with her friends at South Colony; where she once resided and spending time outdoors. Susan was also a born again Christian and is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Susan was also a member of Faith Church of the Nazarene, Bay City, Michigan. Susan is survived by her husband, William; three children Brian Howard, William A. (Cheryl) Howard and Lisa (Brian) Jackson all of Saginaw; four grandchildren, Evan (Olivia) Howard, Nick and Bryce Howard and Brendan Jackson; one great-grandchild, Calvin Howard; sister, Carol (Jim) Major and a nephew, Doug Major. Susan and her son Brian shared a dog named Ethel who she will miss very much. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Susan will take place Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 5:00 PM from Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) with Pastor Dwight Kingsbury to officiate. VISITATION: Family and friends can gather at the funeral home Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again Thursday evening from 4:00 PM until the time of service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider Faith Church of the Nazarene Youth Camp Scholarship. So sorry for your loss of Sue. She was a beautiful, caring person. We spent alot of time together when our kids were growing up. Fun vacations, Fire Department functions. You will be missed by many people. Our prayers go out to all of you!
