David Averill

David "Baby David" Daniel Averill II Saginaw, Michigan Heard God call his name on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the C. S. Mott Children's Hospital with his family at his side. He was 11 years old. Baby David was born June 18, 2007 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of David and Rikki (Wright) Averill Jr. Baby David was full of life. He had a beautiful smile that would light up any room. Baby David was a happy go lucky child that was full of strength and determination. He will be dearly missed. Baby David is survived by his mother, Rikki; sister, Mariah; half-sister, Victoria; maternal grandparents, Erica Wright (Edward Tovar) and Angela Doughty; paternal grandmother, Michelle Averill; several aunts, uncles and many cousins. Baby David was preceded in death by his father, David Jr. and grandfather, Richard Doughty. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption Church, 615 Hoyt Ave. with Rev. Fr. William J. Ruthkowski to officiate. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Vigil Service will take place on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Baby David will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
