This man was more than a Father to me. He was a mentor, a teacher, a coach, an example, an idol and as life went on he also became my best friend. I will always look up to him! I was lucky to be able to call him Dad.............

Our deepest sympathies to Joann, Kathy, and Jerry Jr. on the loss of Jerry. I have fond memories of him from spending time at your house in Bridgeport when I was a teen :) He was always kind and very handsome. We Mainprizes go way back with your family and had a lot of fun times. Kathy, I have thought about you so many times through the years. You were like a big sister to me and I always appreciated the times we had together. You all are in our thoughts and sending our love to you from Georgia. My dad passed away 3 years ago so we understand your bittersweet pain. May they both be in a better place sharing a beer :) Love you all :hearts:

My very deepest sympathy to the Winters family....Jerry was such a kind, giving man who loved his family and I was fortunate enough to be a part of his life for a few years. He became like a second Father to me. My prayers and thoughts are with you all as you find your way through life without his presence.

I had the pleasure doing some of my machine repair apprenticeship with him.
He taught me to plan ahead and how to do things the right way the first time, how to take responsibility for my errors and how to correct them.
He had a great sense of humor and could give and take a joke with the best.
Just today I was out back of building at work looking at the maple trees he planted, wondering when the snow would melt and they would get their leaves.they turn a red orange in the fall.
