Obituary
Bonnie J. Schmidt passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at her mother's home. She was 60 years old. Bonnie Minster was born on September 15, 1958, in Saginaw, Michigan to Frederick Edward and Ruth Marie (Ruhlig) Minster. She attended Peace Lutheran Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Patrick Schmidt; children: Tammy, Heidi, Ashley (Ken) and Dustin; grandchildren: Jourdyn, Lexus, Nathen, Tamryn, Gerald, Alerie and Joseph; and her mother, Ruth M. Minster. She was preceded in death by her father, Frederick E. Minster; sisters, Judy A. Minster and Debbie L. Jones. SERVICE: A service for Bonnie will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 23, 2018 at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens Chapel, 7475 E. Holland Rd, Saginaw, MI 48601. Pastor Edward Kast will officiate with burial to follow. The family will gather to visit at the cemetery on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. The Arthur Hill High School Class of 1976 just learned of and is saddened by the passing of our friend and classmate Bonnie. Many of us have fond memories of attending Arthur Hill with Bonnie, and several were lucky enough to have remained friends with her in years since graduation.
We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends, and we want you to know that she will be in our thoughts and prayers. May God hold Bonnie in his arms and keep her safe during this next chapter in her life.

Through all the ups and downs that she and I had during our lifetime together, she was my mother and I always loved her regardless of what we were going through. I will love and miss her forever. She will always be on the top of my heart. I'm just glad she's out of her pain and misery, and I'm happy that she's back with her sisters, dad and Heavenly Father. Rest in peace, mom. Live It Up up there and do everything that you couldn't do down here anymore. I love you!
