Rosemary Lamont

Rosemary Lamont of Kochville, Michigan, Passed away peacefully on October 11, 2018 at HealthSource Saginaw. She was 85 years old. Rosemary Hemstreet was born on August 3, 1933 in Clare, Michigan to the late Gerald and Frances (Burton) Hemstreet. She was married to Richard W. Lamont on October 20, 1962 in Clare. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2003. Rosemary was a faithful member and volunteer of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Zilwaukee for over 40 years. Rosemary loved entertaining family and friends at her home. Her kind and generous spirit also touched many lives at HealthSource Saginaw where she volunteered. Rosemary will forever be remembered for her baking and many treasures that she crocheted. Rosemary is survived by her sons: Wesley (Cindy) Lamont, Jon Lamont, Rick (Linda) Lamont and Randy Lamont; three grandsons: Andy and Richard Lamont; sister, Judy Kleinhardt; brother, Dick Hemstreet. Rosemary was preceded in death by her grandson, Chris Lamont. FUNERAL: A funeral liturgy for Rosemary will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2018 at St. John Paul II, St. Matthew site, 511 W. Cornell St., Saginaw MI 48604. Rev. Fr. James W. Bessert will officiate with burial to follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A vigil service will be prayed at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Visitation will continue at the church on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of Mass.
