Erma Harlow

Erma Jean Harlow of Saginaw Township, age 78, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Brian's House in Essexville, and is now at peace in the arms of her Lord. Erma Jean was born March 4, 1940 in Kawkawlin, MI, the daughter of the late Leslie and Erma (Densmore) Neal. Erma Jean was united in marriage to Don Harlow on September 28, 1968 in Bay City, MI. On Friday, September 28, 2018, they celebrated 50 years of marriage. Erma Jean was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Saginaw for many years. She enjoyed music very much, playing the piano, singing solos, and singing with the church choir. She was a big fan of Gaither Music. Erma Jean also enjoyed watching the Tigers with her husband. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Erma Jean is survived by her loving husband Don, daughter LeAnn (David) Hadley, son Gregory (Amber) Harlow and sister Joyce Wetters. Erma Jean was predeceased by her sister Carol Wetters. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Erma Jean will take place Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, 3000 Davenport, Saginaw, MI 48602. Pastor John Obrecht will officiate. Inurnment to take place at a later date in Eastlawn Cemetery. VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to visit on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road (off State). Visitation will continue at the church on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
