Craig, Dallas A. Reese, Michigan Our beloved, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away at his home on October 1, 2018. He was 76 years old. Dallas A. Craig was born on March 6, 1942 to the late Willis F. and Genevieve (Allen) Craig in Wyandotte, Michigan. Dallas was raised on the family farm in Fairgrove were he learned many life skills. He attended Akron-Fairgrove High School, he then furthered his education at trade school and became a Journeyman. Dallas worked for General Motors at the Grey Iron Foundry, retiring after 38 years. He married Luz Barsenas on November 5, 1983, in Saginaw at Sheridan Methodist Church. Dallas enjoyed restoring cars, traveling, hunting, and canning (one of the many things he learned during his childhood). Dallas is survived by his wife, Luz; four children: Dallas, Cindy, Jennifer and Hannah; four step-children: Chuck (Rhonda), Robert, Ann (Jeff) and Marty (Marilyn); eleven grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers: Leon (Sheilah) Craig and Kenneth Craig; and dear friends: Fred and Sue Stein, Paul and Carrie Gnatkowski; and his fur babies: Sasha and Boo. Dallas is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by: his brother, Beaudry Craig. SERVICE: A memorial service for Dallas will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd (off State), Rev. Fr. Francis Voris, OFMCap will officiate. According to Dallas' wishes cremation has taken place. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. MEMORIALS: Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to make a memorial donation to St. Joseph Catholic Church building fund.
