Janice Brandle

Brandle, Janice L. of Saginaw, Michigan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Meadowview Memory Care. She was 78 years old. Janice Lou McLeod was born on May 22, 1940 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late James R. and Lucille (Trier) McLeod. She married the love of her life, Marvin Morris Brandle on September 15, 1968; he survives her. Janice graduated from Arthur Hill High School and then attended Bay City Junior College, where she took teaching courses. She then work for Michigan Bell as a business office supervisor, and also helped with the family business, Brandle Real Estate as a secretary was also licensed as an agent. She and her husband are of the Jewish faith and a longtime member of the Temple B'nai Israel in Saginaw. Throughout her life, Janice enjoyed horses, reading, and time at the cottage. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity. Above all, Janice loved and cherished her family. Surviving are her beloved husband of 50 years, Marv; one daughter: Wendy (Michael) Steerman of Brant, MI; two granddaughters: Pria (Micah) Dorfmann and Asha Hosmane; one great-grandson: Landon Hosmane; and one brother, James (Jan) McLeod. She was preceded in death by her brother, David McLeod. FUNERAL: A Private Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rabbi Jennifer Lader officiated. Entombment followed at Oakwood Mausoleum.
