Rosas, Juan Jr. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 9, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was 75 years old. Juan Rosas Jr. was born on January 22, 1943 in San Marcos, Texas to the late Juan F. and Maria (Teneyuque) Rosas. Juan and his family came to the Saginaw Area when he was a young boy. Juan met his sweetheart, Damiana Campos at Arthur Eddie Jr. High School in 1957. They were married in Traverse City on July 2, 1964, and she survives him. Juan started working at the Buick Plant in Flint and retired in 2000 after 43 years of services. He loved music, dancing and spending time enjoying life with his family. Juan is survived by his wife of 53 years, Damiana Rosas; sons: Juan (Jennifer) Rosas III, Anthony Rosas and Andrew (Jennifer) Rosas; 10 grandchildren: Scott Vlassis, Daniel Rosas, Anthony Rosas Jr., Cyprian (Bri) Barsenas, Kayla Adams, Jesus Rosas, Koty Rosas, Juan Rosas IV, Benjamin Rosas, Alivia Rosas and John (Shanna) Trevino; many great grandchildren; brothers: Robert (Linda) Rosas, Lupe (Irene) Rosas, Louie (Sarah) Rosas; sisters: Sylvia (Eli) Martinez and Stella Payne. Juan was preceded in death by his brothers: Carlos Rosas and Frank Rosas. FUNERAL: A funeral liturgy for Juan will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. 6th St., Saginaw, MI 48601. Rev. Fr. Francis Voris OFMCap will officiate. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. According to Juan's wishes cremation will follow the funeral service. MEMORIALS: Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial contribution to St. Joseph Catholic Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). I remember Juan an Helen Standing in for Us when we got married an it was a Snow Blizzard day in November .an Traveling several times with Juan Rosas an. Deleon Family to Texas to visit family . It was always a pleasant trip. Juan is a mellow easy. Fun going personality ! I remember being in a Chicago blizzard with Juan an Helen an it was fun too! We all made it to Chicago! Lot of good days . An deer Hunting with Juan an our family everyone always enjoyed him an was glad to have him with our family. Rest in Peace Juan now your Traveling with the Angeles.
