When my Father William C. Kurtz died in 1978 Tony followed my fathers' request to a tee. It was against the law to serve alcohol in a funeral home, but Tony made it happen by setting up a private room and those who wanted a drink on "Old Will The Northern Thrill" did so. In honor of Tony Sr., Gaudreau the Florist Ltd. will be passing out over 500 floral arrangements to Veterans at the V.A. Hospital in Saginaw on July 25th. We do this every year, and every year we dedicate our efforts in honor of someone who has passed, we can't think of a better person to honor this year than Anton "Tony" Deisler Sr. Our sympathies to Tony, Marilyn and the entire Deisler Family. My parent's we're friends with Tony as long as I can remember , as a very small child he let me " drive " his boat on the Saginaw River and during my Grandmother's funeral while he and my Father we're having a " nip " he encouraged me to " try out a casket "to which my Father was mortified !!!! I have nothing but very fond memories of Tony and at 63 I mourn his passing . RIH Tony , enjoy your reunion with Al and Lucy . ....Susie Bunchek Mackley
