I grew up with Joe. He was my little brother. He was also my best man at my wedding. He was a big guy like his dad, and a beautiful people person who liked guitars and music like his mom. He had a great personality that attracted people. His son, Matt, helped me build my house. His daughter, Allison, took on big challenges to care for him in his later years including her own health issues. He married one of the nicest, quiet and gracious ladies who gave him two beautiful children. He has fought against poor health for many years and has put up a good fight. He can rest now from life's battles. I share his hope in that future moment when those of us resting will hear the Creator's voice and come back to life.

Joel Conrad was my uncle and I enjoyed spending time with him. He taught me about fishing and took me to one of his favorite spots at Quanicassee. He played baseball with us in the apple orchard and basketball in the driveway. Uncle Joel had a great sense of humor and could usually find a fitting joke for the occasion; he was hilarious! He was a great person with an even better heart and will be sorely missed.
