What a great guy! Bill was truly a great friend to our family. My dad and mom, Jerd and Mary Ann, always spoke fondly of "Willie". They had some terrific times together. Our entire family will miss Bill very much and our prayers go out to you. May God fill your family with fond memories of a life well lived. Skeet and Susan Clayton

Bill and Phyllis were such nice, kind people. We rarely missed their tasty fish dinners at the Washington Club and Jerry was so glad to have Bill and his son as customers at the barber shop. Our sympathy and thoughts are with Bill's wife and family. Jerry and Barbara Stuart

So sorry to hear about Bill's passing. I have such great memories of Bill at Sullivan's Restaurants, being part the former St. Mary Cathedral Athletic Association with my dad, meeting him in the sacristy at St. Mary's each time I came back to Michigan for a visit, the way he always asked about my mom, and especially the way he always spoke with pride and love about each of his kids from the time I went to school at St. Mary's right up to the last time I saw him a few years ago. I was blessed to have known Bill and his family and to be considered an "adopted member" of the Brown Street residents during my grades 8-12 at St. Mary's from 1968-1973. Bill was a living example to me growing up and as the years went on of how to live a life of being a good and faithful servant. May the angels and all those who passed before you greet you in paradise, Bill. Our thoughts and prayers from afar to all the Sullivan family. Joe & Mary Keyes Hibbing, Minnesota
