Sulfridge, Beverly Ann (Newas) Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Covenant Healthcare - Harrison. She was 87 years old. Beverly Ann Parker was born on September 6, 1930 in Caro, Michigan to the late Elgie and Laura (Huffman) Parker. Bev worked as surgical technician for over 25 years with the Saginaw Hospitals and then continued to volunteer at Covenant HealthCare during her retirement. Bev was a faithful member of First Congregational Church. She enjoyed the friendships she shared at McBrite. She is survived by her son, Gary (Judith) Newas; grandchildren: Robert Newas and Stacey (Mark) Harvey; three great grandchildren: Hannah Newas, Weston Harvey and Lauren Harvey; sister, Linda Kane; nephew, Christopher (Crystal) Kane. She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Jacob Newas; brothers, Ronald, Robert and Eugene Parker. SERVICE: A memorial service for Bev will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Rob Richards will officiate. Family and friends will gather to visit at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. According to Beverly's wishes cremation has taken place, and her cremated remains will be buried in Indianfields Township Cemetery, Caro, MI. MEMORIALS: Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. I'm thankful for the chance to get to know Beverly over the years thru her Grandaughter Stacey. She was a very sweet woman who loved her family very much. If I had to guess one of her greatest joys in life I would say her Great Grandchildren. My deepest condolences go out to all who loved Beverly and may all find comfort in their memories of her.
