Marion Putz

Putz, Marion (Wendt) Saginaw Twp., Michigan Passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2018 at her home. She was 98 years old. Marion was born on November 2, 1919 in Bay City to the late Charles A. and Hilma (Foerster) Wendt. Marion was married to Clemens O. Putz on January 17, 1943 in Bay City, he preceded her in death on July 13, 2002. Marion is survived by her children: Thomas C. Putz, John C. Putz and his wife, Linda, Barbara A. Putz, James D. Putz and his wife, Luana; six grandchildren: Jennifer (Charlie) Yuan, Jessica (Jason) Jacobs, Kristina (Benjamin) Ebner, Matthew, Brandon and Jacob Putz; and six great-grandchildren. Marion was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clem; brother, Howard Wendt; sisters: Florence Schnepp, and Betty Bates. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Marion will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2018 at Peace Lutheran Church, 3427 Adams St., where she had been a faithful member. Rev. C. William Weis will officiate. Entombment will follow in Oakwood Mausoleum. VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to visit at the church on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
