DeFeyter, Steven A. "Curly Joe" Gladwin, Michigan Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at his home. He was 49 years old. Steven A. DeFeyter was born June 2, 1968 in Lansing, Michigan. Curly Joe worked as a mechanic throughout his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children: Jason (Kendra Moreno) DeFeyter, Stephanie and Stacy DeFeyter, Douglas and Emily Rauschert; grandchildren: Savanna and D.J. DeFeyter, Devin Moreno, Nahvia and Mayson Ellison and Aden DeFeyter; brother, Terry DeFeyter. Curly Joe was preceded in death by his mom, Ruth DeFeyter; daughter, Christina DeFeyter; granddaughter, Galaxie Maynard; brother, Brad DeFeyter; aunt and uncle, Cory and Jerry. According to Curly Joe's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Bay City Evangelical Free Church, 604 S Woodbridge St, Bay City, MI 48706. Pastor Neil Sierocki will officiate. Family and friends are welcome to visit at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
