LaTarte, Michael S. "Mickey" of Carrollton, Michigan passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at St. Mary's of Michigan, surrounded by his family. He was 71 years old. Michael Stanley LaTarte was born on July 24, 1946 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Merle J. and Eleanor (Bohinski) LaTarte. He married Virginia Grace Pollen on September 24, 1966. Mickey enjoyed fishing, hunting, and other outdoor activities. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Virginia; two daughters and one son: Lori (Rick) Hall, Rhonda (Steve) Dupuis, Greg (Bonnie) LaTarte; ten grandchildren: Jenny, Phillip, Jeffrey, Courtney, Hallie, Robert, Jessica, Kira, Mariah, Savannah; three great-grandchildren; four sisters; and one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Jeffrey M. LaTarte. Per Michael's request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the St. Jude Children's Research Foundation.
